Foo Du dumplings began in a tiny restaurant in Northern China’s Shandong province. After moving to New Zealand as a kid, Max discovered that the dumplings sold here were not the fresh, delicious morsels of his childhood. He decided to fix all of that and adapt the recipes his family has honed for generations.
Using local meats and produce, along with traditional Chinese ingredients, Foo Du serves a variety of delicious Chinese cuisine – their trademark dumplings (of course), but also dim sum, shumai and more.
